Cindy Underwood-Oleshak is a highly-dedicated and results-oriented professional with 20+ years of experience delivering success through the development and execution of compelling marketing, promotions and publicity strategies.
Underwood-Oleshak began her career with Scottrade Center/St. Louis Blues Hockey Club in 1994, where she worked her way through the marketing department becoming the Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations. For more than 13 years she served as the overall marketing and public relations contact with tour promoters, media representatives and tour sponsors to maximize event success, which led to Scottrade Center becoming recognized as one of the top grossing arenas in the U.S.
In 2007 she created Cynergy Entertainment Marketing, LLC. and has worked with such events as the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games (VANOC), and served as an independent promoter for such tours as Monster Truck Challenge, BODY WORLDS & The Brain: The Original Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies, The Wiggles LIVE tour, DreamWorks ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ Live Spectacular, and Sesame Street Live.
Underwood-Oleshak is active with the Mighty Oakes Heart Foundation, a St. Louis charity dedicated to providing financial support to families coping with the traumatic reality of congenital heart defects. She currently serves on the planning committee for the Event and Arena Marketing Conference (EAMC).
Underwood-Oleshak, a St. Louis native, is a graduate of Webster University with a Bachelor of Science degree in media communications with an emphasis in public and sports marketing. Her husband, Rick and son Cameron reside in Webster Groves, Mo.
